Mantua Dam Race

Join us for the 5 mile race around the beautiful Mantua Reservoir in our annual Dam Race! We will also be holding a 1 mile walk/kids run.
Start time is 7 AM for the 5 mile race and 8:30 AM for the 1 mile race. The start and finish for both races will be located at Mantua Main Street Park. Registration cost is $30 for the 5 mile race and $15 for the 1 mile. They will both be chip timed. We have some great prizes lined up for our overall and age group winners!
**REGISTER BY JUNE 29TH AT MIDNIGHT TO GUARANTEE A RACE SHIRT!!**
Registration will be open until the race begins, but you will most likely not receive a T-shirt if you register after June 29th. Packet pickup will be Friday, July 12th from 5-7 PM at the Mantua Park (start location). You will also be able to pick up your packet on race day from 6:15-6:50 AM.

Parade

Don’t let the parade pass you by. Grab your chair, your shade, your smile and of course your candy sack. Or be a part of the parade and sign up — tractors, horses, bikes, cars, floats, side-by-sides, walkers, runners, and scoopers. Either way, you won’t want to miss out in the fun on Saturday morning.

Kid Games

To participate, you will need to purchase a wristband which will cover all activities (booths are one-time only as prizes are limited).
Wristbands are $5 when bought in advance at any of the weekday activities and $7 when purchased the day-of (Saturday).

Food Trucks / Vendor Booths

We are excited to welcome a variety of vendors selling and showing off handmade goods and items for purchase. We will also have a variety of food trucks to choose from for both lunch and dinner with sweet treats to enjoy throughout the day.

Quilt Show
11:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Town Hall
The quilt show will be held at Town Hall . We will have a fundraising quilt on display. Tickets will be $1.00 each and can be purchased at the Quilt Show or at the fundraiser booth. All proceeds are donated to the town.

Shooting Contest
12:00 - 2:00 PM | Gun Range
Come participate in our annual shooting contest, bring a 22 and ammunition or a rim fire with ammunition to the Mantua Gun Range, north end of town. Al Smart, of the Box Elder Wildlife Federation, will be managing. While this shooting event is designed for the youth, it is open to all ages. . There is no pre-registration. This is a good opportunity to teach the school age youth the importance of gun safety

Horseshoe Tournament

Nothing like tossing a curved piece of metal at a stick to prove your dominance over your friends and neighbors. 2-man teams can sign up day of, for a fun single elimination tournament. Prizes for the winning team and a drawing with prizes for all participants.

Slalom Skiing, Wake Surfing & Skating

In honor of 38 years with Mark & Wendy Parker running the Golden Spike Iron Horse H2o Ski Tournaments for little valley days, we are continuing this tradition.
There will be three boats available to boat with this year. Please sign up for a time slot on the boat with what you want to learn!

Baileys – Teaching Wake Skating
Please come a few minutes before your time slot to sign a waiver. See you there!
There is a $10 gas and participation fee and a waiver must be signed prior to the Little Valley Days Event.

Greased Pole Climb

Fun (albeit clothing-destroying) activity for kids. A tall pole will be slathered in grease and money pinned to it at differing heights. Kids attempt to climb the pole to achieve their monetary dreams.

Watermelon Eating Contest

Come enjoy the fun, and participate in this years watermelon eating contest. Free to participate, look for the white tent with blue picnic tables. Come on time, as once the watermelon is gone its gone!

Fire Truck Slide and Foam Party

Join us for the fire truck slip in slide. We are excited to announce that this year we have brought back the foam machine for extra foaming fun. All children are welcome to come cool off.
Kayak Races

Located at the lake by the dock, come show your speed and skill as a kayaker. All ages and abilities welcome, the kayak races are free of charge. Please register before if possible so we know who to plan on for the races that day.

Fundraiser Drawing

Tickets will be sold at the bowery starting at 11:30 am and TICKET SALES WILL END AT 7:15. The drawing will be at 7:30, you must be present to win.
If you are interested in donating donations of any kind, all donations are welcomed and appreciated. All proceeds are used to fund future Little Valley Day celebrations and fireworks shows.
